Let's welcome 2021 the classy way. With some of the best wine Western Australia has to offer, and a sublime menu to match.
We are proud to announce that in partnership with Leeuwin Estate, we'll be holding a special wine dinner, featuring a stunning line up from their latest Art Series release of wines, in addition to a sublime degustation, curated in tandem by our talented new head chef and bar manager. Below are just a few of the wines that will be a part of the experience.

2018 Sparkling Brut
Bright and vibrant with floral jasmine notes, there is a core of lemon, grapefruit, baked apple and subtle strawberry. The nose is neatly balanced with toasted cashew, almond, truffle, nougat and brioche offering layers of complexity.
Energy and vitality is evident on the palate. It is delicate and fine, underpinned with cut lime, lemon sherbet and pear. There is a beautiful thread of oyster shell and quartz throughout. The bead is fine again, which works in symmetry to the fore mentioned and overall balance.
The aperitif of the evening, this sparkling wine will be served with crispy saltbush
2020 'Art Series' Riesling
Bright, crunchy and full of energy. Finger limes, grapefruit and lemon sherbet combine with coriander seed, Thai basil and Kaffir leaf. Heightened jasmine and citrus blossom notes provide added fragrance and lift.
Vitality and clarity on the palate, cut limes and lemons are threaded throughout. It is finely textured, giving delicate dimension combining with a mineral acid structure, leading to a talc finish.
Our second course of the evening will be paired with an Exmouth Amberjack crudo, grapes, Geraldton wax and a smoked soy sauce.
2018 'Art Series' Sauvignon Blanc
Bright and fragrant with vitality and energy, cut limes feature with lycees and kiwifruit. Passionfruit blossom, frangipani and betel leaf are complementary in the background. Vibrant and concentrated palate with grapefruit, lime curd and custard apple at the forefront. Layered and textural mid palate leads to a thread of oyster shell and subtle oak spice, towards a talc like acid finish.
This wine will be served with Abrolhos Island Scallops, seaweed butter and native lime.
2018 'Art Series' Chardonnay
Immaculate, powerful, intense nose with purity and clarity of primary fruit characterised by pear, white peach, lime curd and custard apple. There are infinite layers of brioche, grilled hazelnuts, cinnamon quill, shaved nutmeg, black cardamom and almond meal. A thread of graphite in the background adds elegant complexity.
Penetration and drive with incredible shape and frame on the palate. The symmetry of layers, contours and overall balance is precise. Pear, cut lime and nectarine are definite throughout. Sweet spice and elegant oak use sit neatly with the fruit, underlined by a delicate acid line, leading to a palate with effortless length.
Served with Lancelin Crayfish, macadamia, and beach herbs, this pairing with be a mouth watering delight.
2018 'Art Series' Cabernet Sauvignon
Dense and concentrated nose with blackcurrants, blueberries and boysenberries. A delicate fragrant lift of violets, lavender offer beautiful symmetry and balance. Laced beneath complex spices of cumin, clove, black cardamom and star anise, surrounded by an oceanic nuance throughout.
Full of energy and vitality with elegant shape and frame, again black and blue fruits dominate the palate. There is dimension, drive, and penetration to the finish. Specifically, there are olive notes, combined with dried thyme, cedar and quartz-like minerality that weaves through to powdery graphite tannins.
The first red of the evening, this will be matched with Wattleseed rubbed wagyu rump, shiitake & chestnut mushrooms
2018 'Art Series' Shiraz
Dense, dark and intense nose, rich with blueberries, mulberries and plums. Sweet perfume lift provided by violets and five spice. Further complexing notes of black pepper, camphor, mushroom and gameiness increase the bandwidth on the nose.
Capacity, dimension and texture outline the palate. A matrix of blueberries and redcurrants feature through a background of dark chocolate, cracked coffee bean and tobacco. There is overall energy on the palate highlighted by a vibrant and youthful acid line, finishing with structural chalky tannins.
This lovely wine closes our evening and comes paired with a Dark Chocolate semifreddo with macerated cherries.
